YA Author Caroline Tung Richmond will be joining us at Herrick on April, 18th 2024. She will be talking with both 7th & 8th grade students about her books, writing process, and what has inspired her to become an author. Lets take a few moments and learn a little bit more about her books, career, and personal life. This will give you a good background and hopefully help spark some ideas for a few questions to ask during her visit.

Caroline Tung Richmond is the award-winning author of The Only Thing to Fear, The Darkest Hour, and Live in Infamy, and the coeditor of Hungry Hearts. She's also the program director of We Need Diverse Books, a nonprofit that promotes diversity in children's literature. A self-proclaimed history nerd and cookie connoisseur, Caroline lives with her family in the Washington, DC, area.
